How it works

One community. Two simple roles.

Every member is both a tester and a developer. You help others reach their 12 testers, and they help you reach yours. Credits keep it fair; verified check-ins keep it honest.

As a tester

Earn credits by testing real apps

Testing an app takes about 5 minutes on day 1 and 1-2 minutes on the days after.

  1. STEP 1

    Pick an app in Discover

Apps that still need testers are shown first. Each listing shows open seats, the developer and what to test.

  2. STEP 2

    Join with your Play email

Enter the Google account signed in on your Android phone. The developer adds it to their closed test email list or Google Group.

  3. STEP 3

    Opt in & install

Open the opt-in link, tap "Become a tester", then install the app from the Play Store.

  4. STEP 4

    Start a session

Tap "Start test session". Our server records the start time. Use the app for at least 60 seconds.

  5. STEP 5

    Check in with feedback

Rate the app, write 20+ characters of honest feedback, and enter the in-app code if the developer set one.

  6. STEP 6

    Earn and repeat daily

    Day 1 pays 15, days 2-13 pay 2 each, day 14 pays 22. That's 61 credits per app.

As a developer

Get your 12 testers for 14 days

From an empty closed test to production access, here's the path most TestersZone developers follow.

  1. 1. Create a closed test in Play Console

Upload a build to a closed testing track and choose email lists or a Google Group for testers.

  2. 2. List your app for 60 credits

Add your package name, opt-in link, description and testing instructions. Optionally hide a verification code in your app.

  3. 3. Add testers as they join

Copy all tester emails in one click and paste them into Play Console. Mark testers as verified once they show as opted in.

  4. 4. Start the 14-day clock

Once 12+ testers have opted in, start the clock. Watch daily check-ins and read feedback as it arrives.

  5. 5. Moderate & reply

Remove anyone faking tests (they get a strike), reply to feedback, and export everything as CSV.

  6. 6. Apply for production

After 14 continuous days with 12+ opted-in testers, apply for production access in Play Console using what you learned.

A realistic first day

Sign up (15 credits) → test three apps for day 1 (45 credits) → you now have 60 credits, exactly enough to list your app. Your listing appears in Discover right away. Keep checking in on your three tests every day: those daily check-ins are what make other developers' tests succeed, and they keep your reliability high.
