Test a little. Get tested a lot.
Google wants proof that real people used your app for two weeks. TestersZone turns that into a fair trade between developers, tracked by verified daily check-ins.
Test 3 apps
Opt in on Google Play, open the app, and leave honest feedback. Your first verified day on each app pays 15 credits.
+15 eachHit 60 credits
15 welcome credits + 3 Γ 15 = 60. Roughly 15 minutes of testing, and your first listing is free anyway.
60 creditsList your app
Paste your closed-test opt-in link. Up to 20 testers join, giving you a buffer above Google's minimum of 12.
20 seatsPass 14 days
Testers check in daily with feedback. You watch every opt-in, check-in and comment from your dashboard.
14 daysTransparent credits. No hidden math.
Every credit you earn or spend shows up in your ledger. Complete a full 14-day run on one app and you earn 61 credits, enough to list your next app.
| Action | Credits |
|---|---|
| Sign-up welcome bonus | +15 |
| Day 1 verified test (per app) | +15 |
| Days 2-13 daily check-in | +2/day |
| Day 14 completion bonus | +22 |

Fake testing doesn't pay here.
Most tester swaps fail because people opt in, grab the reward and disappear. Our rules run on Google's Firestore servers, not in the browser, so they can't be bypassed.
60s minimum session
A server-timestamped session must run before a check-in is accepted. No instant fake check-ins.
One check-in per day
Each check-in has a unique ID per tester, per app, per UTC day, so a day can never be claimed twice.
In-app secret code
Hide a code inside your app (e.g. on the About screen). Testers must type it, which proves they opened your app.
Real written feedback
20+ characters plus a 1-5 rating every day. You can reply to every comment.
Remove & strike
Spot a fake? Remove the tester. They lose 20 credits and get a strike; 3 strikes locks them out of new tests.
Rules-enforced credits
Credits can only change alongside a matching, validated ledger entry. Balances cannot be edited from the browser.
Watch your test day by day.
See exactly who opted in, who checked in today, and what they said. When your 14 days are done, you have real feedback to cite in Google's production access questionnaire.
- Per-day check-in timeline for every tester
- Feedback inbox with ratings, bugs and devices
- One-click copy of tester emails for Play Console
- Export feedback as CSV for your records

Why not just ask friends or Reddit?
You can, and many developers start there. Here's how the common options compare on what matters for the 14-day requirement.

Questions developers ask us
Short answers here. More in the full FAQ and our guides.
Google Play requires personal developer accounts created after November 13, 2023 to run a closed test with at least 12 testers who have been opted in continuously for at least 14 days before production access can be requested. TestersZone helps you find those testers by swapping tests with other developers.
Google's published requirement applies to newly created personal developer accounts. Organization accounts are not covered by that specific rule, but always check your own Play Console, since Google can change its policies.
No. The requirement is about a closed testing track. Testers on an internal test track do not count, so create a closed test and share its opt-in link with your TestersZone testers. Our guide on internal vs closed vs open testing explains the differences.
Per Google's help page, testers who opt in and then opt out before 14 days do not count toward the requirement. That is why TestersZone gives each app up to 20 seats, 8 more than the 12 required, and penalises testers who leave early.
No. TestersZone is an independent community. We cannot guarantee that Google approves your production access application. Google reviews your test and your answers to its questionnaire separately.
You get 15 credits when you sign up. Each app you test pays 15 credits for the first verified day, 2 credits for each following day, and 22 credits on day 14 (61 credits per completed app).
Your app deserves to ship.
